One thing I love about family sessions are how real the personalities, expressions, and relationships are. I have looked back at my own family photos and found that the ones I treasure the most are those that were unposed. These were the ones where we stood by ourselves to smile and got distracted while counting down from 3, 2, 1, smile! This is where our smiles are bright, our grins were wide, and a twinkle was actually in the corner of our eyes.

There is something unique about how family’s relate and capturing their happiness is a joy of mine. Each family is different and I love seeing how a group of people can come together in love. Families are real and their love is beyond genuine. They are able to see the best in each other and realize that moments are not guaranteed. Moments like this may not always come time after time and coming together to do things as a family are special because of that.
